Call of Duty: Warzone is the new in-house Battle Royale of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Owners of CoD: Modern Warfare receive it as a free update, but it can also be played free of charge as a standalone free-to-play version without owning the base game. Currently, up to 150 players compete against each other in the Warzone. The special thing is that you start the game with pre-made loadouts and can fight your way back into the game after death through a Gulag. Warzone offers crossplay between PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Meanwhile, Warzone 2.0 has been introduced, and Caldera will close its doors on September 21, 2023, and will no longer be playable.
