What’s coming to CoD? In Call of Duty: Cold War, you can soon look forward to the big zombie upgrade “Mauer der Toten”. In addition, various smaller adjustments will be made.
When does it start? The updates for CoD will be available on the servers on July 15, 2021.
This is what Mauer der Toten brings
This is the new map: Mauer der Toten is actually “The Wall”, as the third map for Zombies is set in East Berlin of the 1980s at that very wall. The zombies are unleashed there, and you have to stop them while figuring out what actually happened. In the meantime, you’ll acquire weapon and equipment upgrades to fight the nasty undead.
This is what we know about the Perk and the weapons: Additionally, the update offers a new Perk and wonder weapons. The Perk is called “Mule Kick” and allows you to carry an additional weapon.
The wonder weapons, in turn, are the already known CRBR-S and the LT 53 Kazimir Prototype. The latter is a kind of portal cannon that sucks in enemies or allows for fast travel for yourself. The CRBR-S, in turn, seems to be a type of railgun, available in four variants.
What changes in gameplay: Additionally, there are changes in gameplay, including:
- Zombies’ health caps will be reduced
- Zombies’ armor will be reduced
- Sniper rifles will become more powerful
- Close combat weapons will be stronger
What’s currently in multiplayer: In the regular multiplayer of Call of Duty: Cold War, there is currently a new playlist. It mainly features the game modes Gunfight Tournament, Snipes Only Moshpit, and Knife Fight 3vs3.
