I’m signing off for now and pausing the live ticker as the servers seem very stable and there have been no major problems. Even in the afternoon, I was able to get onto the servers immediately and play a few rounds in multiplayer and zombie mode without any disconnects.
If there are any issues in the evening because too many players want to play after work, I will still add updates here. Otherwise, I wish you lots of fun with Black Ops 6 and a great weekend, ciao!

Black Ops 6 has already significantly boosted the player numbers of Call of Duty on Steam just hours after release. The numbers have risen from an average of 68,000 players in September to up to 188,000 in the last few hours (via SteamDB).

Hotfixes from October 25
- A stability issue when collecting dog tags in Kill Confirmed has been fixed.
- A stability issue when using the Valkyrie scorestreak has been fixed.
- A stability issue when using the vigilance perks has been fixed.
- A stability issue when using smoke grenades has been fixed.
- A stability issue when using emotes has been fixed.
- A stability issue that occurred when “Vermin” attacked players has been fixed.
- A stability issue during extraction has been fixed.
- A stability issue when using high contrast mode has been fixed.
- A problem has been fixed where equipment could not follow the player into the game.
- Stability fixes have been added for the Call of Duty UI and Cross-Launching to #MW3 on PC.
- ▪️ Stability fixes for various GPU-related crashes on PC have been added.

The servers are currently running fine. We got into the game immediately and found a match within seconds, which also ran without issues.

Even after the restart, there was no queue waiting for me, and I was able to get into the game again without any issues. So you can confidently start the game with the current status and play without worrying about queues or connection drops.

I have now played multiplayer for about half an hour, and the servers are running quite stable. During the matches, I occasionally experienced packet loss, but I cannot rule out that it was due to my internet and not the servers.
I will restart the game now to give you an impression of the login and to ensure that even latecomers can access the servers without problems.

I was able to get into the game and onto the servers exactly at 0:00. There was no queue or any other issues. Only a quick update required a restart of the game.
The first match could also be started without problems. We will now play 2-3 more rounds in multiplayer to test server stability and will report back here if there were any issues.

Some players are already sharing their first impressions of Black Ops 6 on social media. One user raises high expectations for the zombie mode on Reddit, saying: “Oh. My. God. The new zombies are amazing. This is the version of zombies I have been waiting for a long time to return.”
Another player adds that, in his opinion, the zombie mode plays better than in Cold War – and he liked that one as well.

The New Zealand release seems to be running smoothly without major issues. We have not received any reports of server outages or anything similar.
