What is going on with CoD: 2020? The creators of one of the biggest shooter franchises in the world have come up with something special for the release of the new Call of Duty. Instead of using the usual channels to showcase their game, the main developers at “Treyarch” sent players and content creators on a spy-like treasure hunt for Easter eggs.
At the end of this hunt was the first teaser for Call of Duty: 2020. It all started with a tweet stating that “Treyarch” is working together with the studio “Raven” on the new Call of Duty:

Three major leaks about CoD 2020 likely show release and content
So far, there have been significant information pieces about leaks:
- Pre-alpha gameplay leak recorded with a mobile camera
- Data miners examined a supposed internal alpha called “The Red Door – Call of Duty: Black Ops CIA.”
- A photo of a chip bag appeared. The “Doritos leak” shows the start of a promotion with “Black Ops – Cold War” on October 5

What about those gameplay recordings? By the end of May, the possible name for the new CoD leaked: Cold War. In recent years, the official unveiling of the new CoD usually happened around this time, but not this year.

- Hints of the zombie mode

“Ace” is not known for clickbait or outrageous exaggeration, but rather as a down-to-earth content creator who has built his success on analysis and seriousness. Many believe him and consider his information and data from the “Red Door” package to be authentic.
What is the “Dorito leak”? An image of an American chip bag featuring a very special promotional campaign has surfaced:
“Doritos” are tortilla chips, and apparently an initiative starts on October 5, where players can win double experience points for a year in “Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War”. This was the first concrete hint at the release date of CoD: 2020.
