With luck, the PlayStation 5 might be available for order again this week. However, the quantities are likely to be very limited. Significant restocks are probably not expected until February.
Current availability status of the PS5: The PS4 could last be ordered in small quantities in Germany on December 3, 2020. Since then, the PlayStation 5 has been sold out again. Those still waiting for a chance to buy Sony’s new console might get lucky this week. Otherwise, it seems one would have to wait at least until the second half of February.
Buying PS5 – When will it be possible again?
What does this week look like? This week, the PS5 could be offered for sale in Germany again (January 25 – 31) – if so, it will still only be available online and probably in very limited quantities for public sale, according to the site Gameswirtschaft.
Although German retailers received new stock since the end of last week, large portions of it seem to be reserved to cover outstanding orders. So if new orders are indeed taken this week, you will have to be quick and very lucky.

It is currently unclear who among them might offer the PS5 again this week (especially whether they will and in what quantity), but if they do, you have the best chances here.

What if it doesn’t work out this week? If it doesn’t go on sale this week or you have no luck, you will likely have to wait a few more weeks.
According to Gameswirtschaft, which is considered a reliable source, well-known suppliers are not expecting significant replenishments until the second half of February. At the earliest (from February 15), a larger order wave is expected again.
Good news for already waiting customers: If you have already (pre)ordered a PS5 and are still waiting for the console, you might soon have it in your hands.
