The mythical Keystone Dungeons in World of Warcraft are opening again. But first, there will be some hefty buffs and nerfs.
Tomorrow, on 13.08.2025, the launch of Season 3 of The War Within will finally begin in World of Warcraft. Once again, the hunt for the best loot in the dungeons and the new raid Manaforge Omega begins. To ensure a relatively fair environment, Blizzard is making a few last-minute adjustments. This includes some buffs and nerfs, where some classes will become significantly weaker while others will clearly benefit. We have all the details for you.

- Destruction Demon Hunters will be stronger.
- Frost Death Knights will receive minor adjustments.
- Balance and Wild Druids will be stronger, Healing Druids will receive a bug fix with compensating buffs.
- Enhancement Shamans will be significantly buffed.
- Warlocks will receive slight nerfs in all specializations.
- Protection Warriors will have to accept a minor nerf to their damage.
Why are the changes happening? Even though the 3rd season has not yet started, Blizzard has already taken a close look at the numbers and values of the various characters. Since the “World First” race in the Manaforge Omega is starting tomorrow, there should be maximum equality between the classes. This also aims to avoid a swiftly forming “meta,” where certain classes and specializations are favored over all others.
However, it is likely that even more buffs and nerfs will follow in the coming weeks. Because generally, the acquisition of Tier Sets has a significant impact on balancing, causing some classes to be significantly overpowered while others struggle. Over the past years, Blizzard has become quite quick in this regard, so major changes are often made within a few days.
