Elden Ring has been on the market for a few weeks now. Many players have already lost interest. If you’re looking for some variety and want to play a truly unique build, we at MeinMMO want to introduce you to something: the deadly bubble build.
Elden Ring is very popular and continues to be celebrated by players even 3 months after release. However, some fans are currently losing interest.
All secrets may have been discovered and the PvP has annoying issues that can hinder the fun of the game. Additionally, the New Game+ may not fully satisfy all players.
Whether you know Elden Ring by heart or are just looking for new variety, we have a fun and powerful build for you here. With this, you will destroy bosses using bubbles.
Bubble Build: How to easily blast your opponents away
What kind of build is this? For several weeks now, the bubble build has been circulating in the Elden Ring community as a sort of absurd insider tip among builds. The bubbles in the game are not only absurdly funny, but also actually very powerful.
Certain weapons in the game, like the Horn of the Messenger, allow you to fire holy bubbles through their weapon talent, which can deal a lot of damage. This way, trumpets become deadly instruments in multiple senses.
YouTuber skumnut has laid this build out in detail in a video. In it, you can see not only how exactly this build should be put together. He also shows how he literally blows away gigantic endgame bosses like the Dragon Lord Placudisax or the Elden Beast.
Here you can see skumnut’s video:
What weapons does this build use? The build revolves around 2 weapons:
- Horn of the Messenger
- Longhorn of the Messenger
Both weapons are in our tier list at a strong A rank. The larger form of this weapon type, the Great Horn of the Messenger, is not considered good enough to use by the YouTuber.
Both weapons are rare drops from the Messengers, which you will find shortly after entering the capital Leyndell or at the Crown of the Halig Tree. The larger enemies drop the Longhorn, while the smaller ones drop the basic Horn of the Messenger.
If you’re already in the late game, the enemies no longer appear in Leyndell. Here, you will have to avoid the Halig Tree, which is, however, a significantly worse alternative due to the terrain. So try to, if possible, obtain the weapons in the capital before defeating Maliketh.
Additionally, he uses a Finger Seal to utilize the Golden Oath invocation. This enhances the attack power and defense of you and your allies.
What armor does the build use? The YouTuber uses the Messenger Crown because it enhances bubble attacks. You can find this crown southwest of the grace point “Halig Tree – Crown,” on the body hidden behind a very large Messenger.
For optical “completeness,” he also uses the robe of the noble of the Godskin, as it gives your character the round body shape of the Messengers.
As for talismans, he uses:
- Heritage of the Two Fingers: Increases Faith
- Marika’s Scarseal: Significantly increases your attributes but also the damage taken
- Shard of Alexander: Increases the damage of weapon talents
- Holy Scorpion Talisman: Strengthens holy attacks, reduces damage resistance
For the flask, he also mixes the following tears to temporarily further buff the build.
- Faith Knot Crystal Tear: Temporarily boosts your Faith
- Crimson Holy Tear: Temporarily boosts your holy attacks
What attributes does the build use? Since both weapons scale with the Faith attribute and the weapon talent is the star of the show, the points are also distributed accordingly at level 150:
- Strength: 51
- Mind: 30
- Endurance: 25
- Strength: 23
- Dexterity: 12
- Intelligence: 9
- Faith: 70
- Arcane: 9
Build brings variety thanks to a rain of deadly bubbles
What makes the build so good? If you’re looking for some variety in Elden Ring, you should definitely try the bubble build.
It plays not only uniquely compared to other builds and can break the routine in Elden Ring, but it is also simply very powerful. And that in both PvE and PvP.
Additionally, thanks to the attribute distribution, you can also flexibly use other Faith builds if you want. The incredibly strong Blasphemous Blade for example is well-suited if you want to swing a sword classically.
What are the downsides of the build? The major downside of the build is clear; you need patience for its core. The weapons without which the build is not possible are relatively tedious and annoying to farm – especially when you only have the Halig Tree as a farming spot.
Additionally, the build becomes playable at the earliest only after you’ve been to the capital. Since the Messenger Crown can only be found in the Halig Tree, it will only be really good in the late game or in New Game Plus.
What do you think of the build? Have you heard of it or maybe even tried it already? Are you currently looking for ways to break up a routine in Elden Ring a bit? Or are you already playing other games again? Let us know in the comments.
