Blade & Soul, the Kung-Fu anime MMO from NCSoft, will receive new content in December. After the oddly named “Weisswallagune” along with a giant turtle was featured last time, this time you can explore dark ruins again. And it’s Christmas time too!
Into the Ruins!
The highlight of the new update called Patch 2.9 is the “Ruins of Khanda Vihar”. This is a new quest series, of which you can play the first five chapters. The highlight of the new story is the new dungeon “Naryuanische Gießerei”. With the new update, phases 7 to 9 of the flawless items are also introduced. Phases 1 to 6 will therefore require less material, and you will need fewer transformation stones and other rare resources.
In addition to the ruins update, the spirit of Christmas also comes to the world of Blade & Soul. Of course, it’s not called Christmas here, but Winter Festival, yet the concept is the same. In the shop, you can buy special packages that you cannot open yourself but can only gift to other players.
Additionally, you can complete a Christmas shooting gallery in the Cold Storage dungeon and blast monsters with snowballs. Until the final boss arrives and drops Christmas loot.
