Black Desert Online still does not have all the classes that are available in the Korean version of the sandbox MMO. However, according to a Twitter message from the developers, the classes Ninja and Kunoichi might come this week if everything goes well.
Black Desert Online will gradually receive all the missing heroes from the Korean original in the West version. Especially the Asian-themed classes were deliberately held back from the release version due to concerns from the publisher at that time that they might scare off the Western audience. However, at least the Samurai classes Maehwa and Musa have made it into the game, and only the Ninja and his female counterpart, the Kunoichi, are still missing.
Originally, these two assassin classes were supposed to be released in May. However, since these characters were not optimally balanced even in the Korean version of the game, the release of Ninja and Kunoichi has been significantly delayed. The responsible parties have not yet provided a precise date, but last week a developer commented on the release of the new classes. On Twitter, in response to a user’s question about the release of the new classes, he stated, “Early next week if everything goes well.”

If nothing unforeseen happens, the new class should be available on the servers of Black Desert Online by Wednesday this week at the latest. This means that the new character will arrive just in time to plunge into the fresh area of Valencia, which also recently came to the West servers of BDO.
