The Korean sandbox MMO Black Desert has managed to attract one and a half million players to the open beta since December .
1.5 Million Players in 100 Days
1.5 million players have already participated in the open beta of Black Desert, publisher Daum reports. The open beta has been running for 100 days now. At the end of March, they plan to celebrate the milestone with a small event.
However, such player numbers have little significance: Anyone can take a look during a free-to-play beta. From December we know that Black Desert has not necessarily taken off like a bomb, although earnings in the first days were good.
But the game is also facing challenges: A port will likely require a rethink of the currently too lenient PvE, which is currently being worked on in Russia.
