The next-gen MMO Black Desert has completed its final closed beta phase in South Korea. The Ranger turned out to be the most popular class.
Black Desert not only found a publisher for the West and a release date, but also a western Facebook account where they post rather sympathetic messages in English that highlight cultural differences. Recently, they responded to an impatient poster who asked when Black Desert would finally come to the West, stating that they needed time. As everyone knows, nobody can eat through hot bean pudding with impatience.
Anyway: The Ranger, it is shared, has become the most popular class in the beta, outperforming the other three. Fans are into the archer. As the Facebook account of Pearl Abyss, a source of endless joy, states, it is wrong to assume that the Ranger is just an ordinary girl with a pretty face and a tiny waist.

In the latest post, they discuss PvP in Black Desert, where players could duel in one-on-one arenas without disadvantages and work on perfecting their class mastery. Most of the “real PvP” will take place in the open world.
Black Desert should soon be entering a closed beta here in the West, with a release expected in the West in early 2016. We have presented the game in a detailed preview.
