Black Desert Online is planning many events in the coming weeks, which are especially interesting for returners and for leveling new characters. A highlight is the introduction of a new grinding spot.
Update September 25: The first events are now live. There are also special rewards for Marni Stones. Each filled Marni Stone 1 gives one point and each filled Marni Stone 2 gives two points.
The points collected until October 8 grant you rewards, including the Enhancement Package II and accessory boxes: Tungrad.
What is the event series about? The new in-game events are collectively titled “Time to Hunt”. It starts on Wednesday, September 25, and runs until October 23.
During the “Time to Hunt”, there will be a series of various bonuses that increase experience points or the drop rate at world bosses. Additionally, special challenges await you that must be completed within a certain time frame.
On October 8, a new grinding spot will be introduced: “The Kratuga Ancient Ruins”.
What happens at the new grinding spot? In the Kratuga Ancient Ruins, you can fight against ancient weapon constructs that drop the material Elkar. From this, you can create Elkar Crystals that you can use for your weapons. The crystals grant:
- +12 Accuracy
- +10% Ignores all resistances
You can reach the new area through the Hystria Ruins. However, you will need the Claw of the Black Spirits and should have at least 250 AP to survive in the area.
If you have already been in the new areas Starfall or the Underwater Ruins, you should not have any problems in the new grinding spot.
Events for Returners and Twinks
Which events kick off the hunting season? The event series begins on September 25 with the Fever Time Boost. This brings you:
- +200% Combat Experience
- +30% Skill EXP Boost
At the same time, there will also be a doubling of the drop rate at world bosses. The affected bosses are:
- Garmoth
- Vell
- Kzarka
- Nouver
- Kutum
- Offin
- Tett
- Karnada
Both events will remain for two weeks, until October 8, which is the release of the new grinding spot. The start is ideal for newcomers, returners, and players who want to quickly level and gear characters.
During these two weeks, there will also be special challenges that reward players for spending a certain amount of time in the game. Rewards include EP and loot scrolls, as well as boxes with high-quality meals.
How does the hunting season proceed? On October 2, there will be a special event for veterans. The best fighters, gatherers, and fishers will be rewarded with bags of valuable materials.
In them, you can find, among other things, Black Stones, Black Crystal Shards, Cron Stones, and many other items.
Special reward for veterans: If you have a character that reaches level 56 and 58 during the event period, you will receive the “Support Equipment of the First Captain of the Trina Knights”.
This is a box containing weapons, armors, accessories, and crystals at a level suitable for the events. You can secure the kit at any time during the hunting season.
The items will only remain for 7 days, after which you will need to equip yourself again.
