In Elden Ring there are many skills and one of them currently dominates the PvP. While it looks completely ridiculous, it is undeniably deadly. Find out here on MeinMMO what skill this is and how it looks in action.
What kind of skill is this? In Elden Ring there is a Ash of War called “Lightning Ram” (Lightning Ram). The skill is inspired by fighting goats. And indeed, you harness the power of the electric goat to summon this deadly skill.
With a powerful bleat, your hero charges up with electric goat power and then rolls through the vegetation like a living wrecking ball. Anyone who gets in your way takes damage and gets briefly stunned.
This puts your opponents in what is known as a “Stun Lock.” This means that with repeated attacks from the ball attack, they stumble around again and again and have little chance of retaliation.
And since the ball attack continuously hits in quick succession, fights this way can be decided quickly. This applies to bosses and especially in PvP. The following video on Twitter shows – with the fitting soundtrack – what such a death ball attack looks like in PvP.
“This is the current PvP meta”
So players are reacting: The tweet with the PvP action was described by the creator as “You may not like it, but this is the current PvP meta in Elden Ring.”
Indeed, the skill is critically viewed in PvP. Other users say:
- Rev finds such moves embarrassing: “I just don’t understand how people can have fun or be proud to play this way. But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night.
- Also user Alonzo Jones sees it this way and is already waiting for the patch: “I just don’t understand how this can be fun and how people react like children when something like this gets patched out. Like “wah wah do you really have to play the game now? That sucks for you, my son.””
- User Blake on the other hand thinks it’s only fair as long as you catch griefers: “If you have summoned a friend, an invader is usually a griefer. […]. They interrupt your friend’s help for a boss fight. It’s no shame to win against such a griefer by any means necessary.
Players generally agree that such skills do not necessarily contribute to fairness in PvP. Recently, a particularly nasty combo was even nerfed down.
But on the other hand, PvP in Elden Ring is often brutal as players continuously find new, powerful combinations. When you can roll an annoying player with the mighty goat power, that’s certainly a great satisfaction.
Almost as powerful as a rolling death goat is the new OP sword “Bloody Streams.” But you can really miss this thing hard. So check out our guide and guarantee to find the new super weapon in the game before it’s too late!
