In Elden Ring, hackers and trolls know no bounds. This time, a new trick is circulating in the Lands Between, where pranksters can ruin your save game with just a pair of underwear. We will show you the details.
What are players complaining about? Many players are temporarily banned without any apparent reason. Therefore, the fans of Elden Ring are wondering what they did wrong. Reddit user Ok-Communication7125 investigated the matter and inquired with support regarding his sudden ban.
The reason for his ban – and possibly for many other players – is an item that should not be in his possession. It is the underwear of Fia, the NPC who gives you bad hugs and indirectly weakens you.
Hackers have obtained this piece of clothing and are now causing unjust bans.
Dirty laundry leads to bans – Be careful!
What is causing the problem? Ironically, a piece of underwear is responsible for the unjust bans. The item “Deathbed Smalls” comes from the NPC Fia, who can hug you at the Roundtable. The problem, however, is that this item is not supposed to be playable.

Hackers and trolls have found ways to secure items from the data in their inventories, which they then drop for players. However, these “gifts” have no place in the inventories of players and are tracked by the servers.
If one of these cut contents is found in your inventory, you will be temporarily banned. Reddit user Ok-Communication7125 reported dismayed that after 220 hours of gameplay, support instructed him to delete Elden Ring and his save files. If he does not do this, he will be completely banned from the game online for 180 days.
Who is affected? Any player on all platforms can be affected. Hackers also find ways to gain access to the data through modified consoles of the Xbox Series X and PS5 to give you these items.
How can I protect myself? Do not pick up items from players in your world that you do not know. If a hacker drops this item for you, you can kick him from your world and restart the game.
This will make the dropped item disappear and you do not have to worry about accidentally picking it up. As long as you do not possess this item in your inventory, nothing can happen to you.
What do you think about this new trick that hackers have come up with? Do you find it ridiculous that they are ruining the fun for players with such dirty tricks? Let us know in the comments how you feel about it!
