How can I display the FPS? The option is a bit hidden, you can find it here: Settings → Graphics → Advanced Settings → Scroll all the way down → Performance Display → On.

The best graphics settings for optimal performance on PC
To achieve a good balance between FPS performance and visuals even with less powerful PCs, you should make the following settings:

- Terrain Quality: Low
- Foliage Quality: Low
- Effect Quality: Low

- Screen-Space Reflections: Off

Advanced Settings
- Fixed Resolution Scale: 100
- Framerate Limit: On – at maximum refresh rate (160, 144, 240, … )
- Nvidia Reflex Low Latency: Enabled + Boost
- Upscaling Technique: DLSS for Nvidia users / FSR for AMD users
- Upscaling Quality: Quality for better graphics, Performance/Ultra Performance for highest FPS
- Nvidia Frame Generation: Off (causes too much input lag)
- Future Frame Rendering: Off
- Performance Display: On to display the FPS

Additionally, you can make the following settings outside of the game to achieve optimal performance and stability:
- Windows Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling
If you set everything as listed above, you can still squeeze out a few FPS from less powerful PCs.
During the beta phases, you can also earn exclusive rewards while watching certain content creators on Twitch.
