In Battlefield 1, screenshots from the alpha, taken in observer mode, have surfaced. These resemble art more than in-game snapshots.
At the latest since the gameplay trailer and the multiplayer demonstration at E3 2016, Battlefield 1 has convinced many fans: The graphics of the “World War I” shooter are impressive.
Now, screenshots from the closed alpha that were taken in observer mode are circulating on the internet. Presumably, a rather powerful PC is required to enable such in-game graphics. Nevertheless, the Frostbite engine impressively shows what it can produce.

It appears that all screenshots were generated on the same map. One gets an impression of how the dynamic weather will affect the player’s experience. Whether rain, fog, or sunshine – the landscape impresses with richness of detail.
