Battleborn receives a big update fresh at the launch of the competition Overwatch , which not only introduces the new hero Alani . Among other things, it also addressed the annoying sniper exploit and the unbalanced hero balance.
Battleborn is not standing still, and alongside the new Eldrid hero Alani, today’s patch also includes numerous much-needed bug fixes. Particularly severe was an exploit on the Incursion map “Overgrowth”, where resourceful snipers – like Marquis or Thorn – could snipe freely across the entire map. This is no longer possible now.

Additionally, some unintended crowd-control effects on the heroines Ambra and Galilea have been removed. The latter, in particular, was deemed far too powerful by many players. Furthermore, the game mechanics of the Thrall mercenaries on Incursion maps have been adjusted, so that the AI mercenaries are no longer as game-changing as they used to be.
In addition to the hotfixes, balance updates, and the new hero Alani, there are also more skins and taunts. A complete list of all updates and patches can be found on the official site of developer Gearbox. Thanks to Overwatch, Battleborn is now about 30 percent cheaper.
