If you have a lot of money in GTA 5 Online, you could now lose a significant part of it. PC players are reporting a bug that takes away 54 million dollars from you.
What kind of bug is this? The Twitter account of TezFunz2 regularly reports on leaks, changes, and general information related to Rockstar Games titles. Now, it warns PC users of a bug in GTA Online that is draining millions of dollars from the super-rich.
This bug deducts excessively high maintenance costs for the bunker from you. Over 54 million GTA dollars – to be precise, 54,002,375 GTA$.
In a screenshot, TezFunz shows what the billing looks like.
According to early reports, this bug only exists on PC. Users on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have not reported these issues yet. There are warnings against logging into GTA Online if
- you have over 54 million dollars in your account
- you own an arcade and the Master Control Terminal
So the problem only affects the part of PC players who are already wealthy. Perhaps these are the players who stuffed their pockets with the horse racing glitch in the casino.
Reports about this bug are still rare. However, the Twitter user TezFunz2 is a trustworthy source that deserves attention.
What can you do about it? Players advise not logging in at all until this bug is fixed. If you do log in, you should quickly transfer your money to the account of a secondary character so that you have less than 54 million in your own account – this way, the money might not be deducted, notes a Reddit user.
What are the reactions? Reactions on Twitter and Reddit are mixed. On one side, players like TheCupcakeScrub on Reddit joke and say: “Ha, I don’t even have 200,000 because I’m always buying car upgrades.”
Others explain that they already have billions in their accounts and suggest that this bug doesn’t bother them much.
If you are still far below the threshold of 54 million dollars, then grab a new weapon and nearly 300,000 GTA dollars now:
