This is what’s happening right now in Borderlands 3: A series of events is currently running in Borderlands 3 that noticeably increases the loot. It all started with the “Takedown Shakedown” event, where you can secure good drop rates in the Maliwan Takedown. But that’s not all.

Here’s how to get legendary loot right now: Normally, the safest way to get legendary weapons is the classic farming of bosses. You can also occasionally find a legendary gun as a World Drop.
In the new “Door Buster Event”, which runs until April 2, there is another way to snag legendary weapons: The machines in the game currently have a legendary weapon, grenade, or class mods and shields available for purchase. You can just buy them – even if they can be quite expensive. However, anyone who has already bought the SDUs from Marcus probably needs a new place to spend their money anyway.
On Thursday, the next event is supposed to arrive – what it will be like, Gearbox has kept secret for now. At the same time, the “Co-op Supply Drop” event is also running. This is meant to encourage playing together with friends: Because currently, you get more loot from badass enemies in co-op mode than usual.
