The first ARK patch for PS4 is here. It provides better resolution and fixes small bugs for PlayStation players.
Since December 6, ARK: Survival Evolved has been available for PS4. The first update arrived – as promised by WildCard – shortly afterwards. The patch should particularly delight PS4 Pro owners, as it ensures improved resolution.
On the Pro, the update increases the resolution to 1080p, while the PS4 can only display the dinos and their surroundings in 720p. Additionally, a few bugs have been fixed. Since the release, there have been issues with broken fonts, invitations that didn’t work, and general crashes of the game. This should no longer be a problem. With the patch, Primitive+ also arrives in Europe.
Additionally, WildCard announced a huge update for the winter months. There will be new maps for both consoles and PC. Server and client performance should be improved through new Physx libraries.
WildCard has a lot planned and will roll out much more updates in the near future. They already announced this for the PS4 release.
