Season 1 of the popular series Arcane is complete, but fans are already looking forward to the second season. Which characters from League of Legends would you like to see there?
The series Arcane, based on the MOBA LoL, hit Netflix like a bomb. Right at the release of the first episodes, positive reviews poured in. Even people who have nothing to do with the game were excited and wanted to know how the story of the two sisters Vi and Jinx would continue.
It was not surprising that Riot Games confirmed the work on the second season right after the first season ended. After all, the series quickly gathered many fans and even caused certain champions in LoL to be played more frequently.
However, very little is currently known about what will happen in the second season. There is only a cliffhanger at the end of the last episode and a short teaser that Riot released together with the announcement. Therefore, we also do not know which new champions from LoL will appear there.
But we do know exactly which ones we would like to see there. MeinMMO author Alexander Leitsch says:
One of the characters that would fit well is definitely Blitzcrank. The robot was created by Viktor, but the fame was stolen by someone else. This is also an important part of Viktor’s story.
Then there’s Ziggs. He is a Yordle and assistant to Heimerdinger in Zhaun in the comics. He also caused quite a bit of chaos together with Jinx when we look at LoL’s lore. He would fit perfectly into season 2.
Camille from Piltover would also be a fitting character because her family has made a lot of money with the hextech crystals, which was no insignificant part of the previous story.
When it comes to characters from outside, thanks to Mel’s mother, someone from Noxus would probably fit in. Well, and Warwick needs no explanation after the season finale.
Our editor-in-chief Leya Jankowski, who has written several enthusiastic reviews about Arcane, also has some characters she would like to see in the second season.
I have always been fascinated by Janna in the lore, which contrasts with her home Zhaun. The guardian resembles a deity hovering above the ground and smelling of a fresh breeze. In contrast, Zhaun is dirty and seedy. Moreover, Zhaun could really use the helping hand of its protector right now.
The pest rat Twitch was the reason I started with League of Legends. I thought the passionate connoisseur of trash and filth was so cool that he pulled me into the game. Only to miserably fail with him in-game. Nevertheless, I stayed with LoL and get excited every time I see Twitch in the game – to this day I love his design and his quotes. Seeing him in Arcane would be amazing.
