A 2nd season is, of course, guaranteed due to its success, and fans of animation and League of Legends can look forward to the finale of the series in 2024.
Arcane Season 2: Everything about the release and trailers
When is the release of Arcane Season 2?
The 2nd season of Arcane will be released in November 2024 on Netflix. The exact dates for the release are now also known. As with Season 1, Season 2 of Arcane will be released in “Acts.” The release will take place over several weeks:
- Act 1: 09 November 2024
- Act 2: 16 November 2024
- Act 3: 23 November 2024

Arcane Season 2: Characters and Story
Which characters from League of Legends will appear?
A whole bunch. So far, the following are confirmed:
- Jinx
- Vi
- Caitlyn
- Singed
- Ekko
- Jayce
- Heimerdinger
- Viktor
- Ambessa Medarda, who will also be a future champion in LoL
- Warwick, who is hinted at in the teaser
New images also show that several years have passed between Season 1 and Season 2.
What is Arcane Season 2 about?
Several years have passed since the events of Season 1. Vi and Caitlyn are working for the police in Piltover (the “Enforcers”). In the teaser, both are already wielding their iconic weapons. The end of Season 2 creates a conflict between Piltover and Silco’s supporters from Zhaun, which will reach its climax in Season 2.
Through the Shimmer production, Singed will play a larger role, along with Warwick. The story surrounding Jayce and Viktor will also continue in Season 2.
What comes after Arcane Season 2?
Arcane ends with Season 2. Thus, the season concludes the story surrounding Zhaun and Piltover. However, fans of League of Legends need not be sad, as the production team, Fortiche Production, has announced that they are also working on other projects within the LoL universe. What those are is still unknown.
Arcane Season 2: In-Game Events
Nothing is known yet about in-game events; however, since Ambessa Medarda was announced as a champion, it can be assumed that she will appear at the time of Season 2. We now know that Riot has planned new content and cosmetics for some of its games in conjunction with Arcane Season 2. These include the following games:
- League of Legends (Cosmetics, ARAM, new champion)
- Teamfight Tactics (Cosmetics, new units)
- Legends of Runeterra (new cards)
- Valorant (Cosmetics)
