Update 1.23.0 for ARC Raiders is out and brings a lot of new content for Raiders and Survivors in Speranza. What to look forward to, we will show you in our patch notes.
What kind of update is this? ARC Raiders released a smaller patch after the release of Flashpoint, which is supposed to fix some bugs. The update was released on April 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM German time and had a size of 1.2 GB on Steam. What fixes you can expect now, you will find out further in the ongoing post.
Patch Notes in 1.23.00 – What is changing
What do the patch notes say? In update 1.23.00, there are mostly, except for some new cosmetic items, only bug fixes that are supposed to improve the game. Therefore, we have translated the patch notes manually for you so that you know what you can look forward to. The following can be expected (Source: arcraiders.com):
ARC
- A bug was fixed that caused rocket launchers to use an incorrect combat alarm sound.
GAMEPLAY
- A bug was fixed that caused two trigger grenades to sometimes deal triple damage if detonated side by side.
- A bug was fixed that caused items not to be used immediately when holding fire and switching to them.
- A bug was fixed that caused weapons and items to fire automatically.
- A bug with shoulder switching was fixed that caused the camera to remain on one side.
- An exploit was fixed that allowed an ambo shard to be used without scatter reduction.
- Barricades can no longer be placed on zip lines.
MAPS
- A bug was fixed that allowed players to catch fire outside the locked room in medical research on Stella Montis.
- A spot on Stella Montis was fixed where players could be shot through the floor.
- A bug was fixed that caused some stairs in the Buried City to be missing.
- Some cases were fixed where the code printer could not be operated during the Locked Gate.
PRECISE INVESTIGATION
- The movement speed of rocket gunners and evaporators has been adjusted to avoid unusual behavior while idling.
- A bug was fixed that caused reconnected players not to see the platforms of the assessors correctly.
- A bug was fixed that caused evaporators to get stuck near assessors.
- A bug was fixed that prevented assessors from returning to orbit.
- A bug was fixed that could cause breach platforms to break on an assessor when repeatedly activating the breach and search prompts, thus preventing their return to orbit.
- All ARCs summoned by the assessor now correctly leave the area and disappear when idle for too long.
- Pinging an assessor on the map now shows the correct location.
- A bug was fixed that caused players to get stuck on an assessor when jumping from one platform to another.
- A bug in the Buried City was fixed that allowed an assessor and a probe to land in the same place.
MISCELLANEOUS
- A bug was fixed that caused the weapon upgrade interface to display incorrect upgrade levels.
- A bug was fixed that caused fully transparent helmet visors.
- Some cases where certain visual effects could cause crashes were fixed.
- The team continues to investigate the causes of the crashes.
