In the quest “Gathering the Data,” Shani sends you to ARC Raiders to prevent the ceiling from collapsing. What you need to do for this is explained in our guide.
What do you need to do for the quest? Shani wants you to decrypt some data at the spaceport. For this, you will be sent to two different locations to interact with devices. The exact steps are as follows:
- Use the magnetic decryption device in the fuel control building.
- Reach the arrival building at the spaceport.
- Use the magnetic decryption device on the top floor of the arrival building.
Shani at least gives you the names of the places you need to visit, but unfortunately not the exact directions to the respective devices. Therefore, we will show you where they are, so you don’t have to search for them endlessly.
Here you use the decryption device
You need to use the decryption device at two locations in the spaceport. The first location is in the “Fuel Control” building. Approach the building directly and look for a device standing on the wall in the first dark room on the southeastern side. Interact with it to accidentally destroy it.
Shani now sends you to the next building – the arrival building. There, you need to use the front entrance and then walk to the stairs. Now take the first stair on the left and go to the first floor. Keep to the left until you find a steel door. Open it and look for devices that look like servers.
Now interact with the middle of the three servers in the room to complete the quest. Note that you can also die between the steps. Progress is still saved.
