What is behind the “Arc Knight”? On Reddit, a player shared a clip he found in the depths of the internet – unfortunately, he does not mention any channel as a source. This clip shows a Raider, who the community later crowns “ARC Knight”, a nod to Batman’s nickname “Dark Knight”.
In the clip, the player destroys a rocket gunner. These are powerful and heavily armored ARCs that fly and shoot rockets. For the impressive way he takes out this rocket gunner, the post receives over 21,000 upvotes within a day.
Raider becomes a celebrated action hero
What is so impressive about the clip? At the beginning of the clip, the Raider dives from a tall building. On his way down, he passes by a rocket gunner, on which he then shoots with a grappling hook during the fall.
Shortly after, the player hangs with a rope on the flying Arc and casually lets himself down – but his target is not the ground. He pulls himself back up with the zipline, cuts the connection just below the rocket gunner, and uses the momentum of the movement to swing onto the robot. There, he places an explosive Deadline mine, which automatically explodes after 6 seconds and deals damage to everything within a 10-meter radius.
Just before the explosion, the ARC Knight walks backwards into the abyss, shoots again with the grappling hook at the rocket gunner while falling, and pulls himself up again a few meters as the robot perishes in the detonation.
The final use of the grappling hook significantly changed the “trajectory” of the Raider, causing him to swoop closer to the building towards the ground and grab a rope that he then slides down slowly and safely without taking damage.

This is how the community reacts: In the subreddit of ARC Raiders, many players are impressed by the Raider’s gameplay. They compare him to action heroes Jason Bourne and Batman. One comment with over 800 upvotes states: “Did a rocket gunner kill this guy’s parents in a dark alley or something? We have the ARC Knight here.”
Other Raiders admit through the clip that there are significantly better players in ARC Raiders than themselves. One user harshly judges: “I am so damn bad at the game.” Another jokes that some players seem to be playing a different game than he is.

Is this gameplay really rare? Yes, the actions of the ARC Knights require a good amount of practice and skill. If you miss with the grappling hook because you shoot at the wrong moment, you simply fall to your death.
Nevertheless, several videos of this kind are already circulating on various platforms. On TikTok, there was a trend for a few weeks to ride the Rocketeers. Clips where everything runs so smoothly and looks so casual are still fairly rare.
