Apex Legends offers hundreds of skins for your heroes, but some are seen very often while others are rare sightings. We have looked at all the premium skins that are seldom encountered in the game.
How were the skins selected? To determine the least used skins, we analyzed the usage of the skins of the different legends on the analysis website Apex Legends Status. We focused on the skins that statistics showed were used the least and are not standard skins.
Rather, we concentrated on legendary skins, as these actually give the legends a different look and are not just color variants of the original.
Therefore, we received a list of skins for each legend that is the least used by players. This can mean that either the skin is rather unpopular or – which is more often the case – it is extremely rare among players.
These are the probably rarest premium skins in Apex Legends
In the following list, you will find the legendary skin for each legend that appears to be the least widespread and therefore possibly very rare. Additionally, you will get information about availability and price.
Revenant – Frost Ancient
What does it look like? This skin shows the grim assassin cyborg as a frozen ice corpse.
How much does it cost? You get the skin for 2,500 Apex coins.
When was it last available? The skin was last available in December 2020 in the bundle for the Holo Day Bash event.
Crypto – Hack Frost
What does it look like? The hacker Crypto appears here as a sparkling frost creature.
How much does it cost? You get the skin for 1,800 Apex coins.
When was it last available? The skin was last available in December 2020 in the bundle for the Holo Day Bash event.
Horizon – Neon Stardust
What does it look like? This strange skin gives the good astrophysicist a pink mohawk and a slightly long neck as well as a daring pink outfit.
How much does it cost? You get the skin for 2,500 Apex coins.
When was it last available? The skin was last available as part of the Horizon launch bundle in November 2020.
Gibraltar – Code Red
What does it look like? This rare skin must first be crafted from the previous skin “Bunker Buster”. It shows the cozy “Gibby” with bright red armor and a flashy steel helmet.
How much does it cost? You get the skin when you upgrade the Bunker Buster skin with 6,500 Apex tokens.
When was it last available? The skin was last available in May 2019 in the shop.
Wattson – Vaporware
What does it look like? This skin is created when you upgrade the skin “Fly by Wire”. The skin shows the cute engineer with a pink jacket and a kind of ski goggles.
How much does it cost? You get the skin when you upgrade the Fly by Wire skin with 6,500 Apex tokens.
When was it last available? The skin was last available in January 2020 in the shop.
Fuse – Boared to Death
What does it look like? This cool skin shows the buddy-like space Australian in a big game hunter outfit with a pig theme.
How much does it cost? You get the skin for 2,500 Apex coins.
When was it last available? The skin was last available in May 2021 as part of a sales promotion.
Bangalore – Stay Frosty
What does it look like? Here you get a delightfully silly skin that puts the stoic soldier in a colorful nutcracker Christmas uniform.
How much does it cost? You get the skin for 1,800 Apex coins.

Loba – Crystalline Perfection
What does it look like? If you want Loba to be a cool ice princess instead of a fiery seductress, then this is your skin.

Wraith – Emerald Enchantress
What does it look like? The grim teleport artist Wraith is turned into a similarly grim witch with a pointed hat.

Octane – Clocktane
What does it look like? The crazy speed junkie Octane is turned into a steampunk clockwork.

Bloodhound – Wandering Warrior
What does it look like? This skin is created from the Royal Guard skin. It shows the mysterious warrior as a kind of green space samurai.

Caustic – The Trophy Hunter
What does it look like? Caustic is already scary, but as a grim hunter, he looks even more terrifying.
How much does it cost? Combine the Blackheart skin with 10,500 crafting tokens and you get the Trophy Hunter.

Lifeline – Rejuvenation
What does it look like? Here the popular medic appears in neon colors.

When was it last available? The last time you could buy this skin was in August 2021.
Pathfinder – Pole Position
What does it look like? The helpful robot Pathfinder is turned into a sleek green racing machine.
How much does it cost? The skin is created when you upgrade the Angel City Pacer skin with 6,500 crafting tokens.
When was it last available? In January 2020, you could last buy the skin in the shop.
What about Valkyrie and Seer?
The two legends Valkyrie and Seer did not have enough data at the time of this article to allow for a relevant analysis. Additionally, the selection of legendary skins is still manageable, as they are quite new in the game.
