If you are revived by a teammate on PS4 in Apex Legends, you are statistically part of a minority. At least, some numbers suggest this, as a player found out about a trophy in the PS4.
This player received the “Team Player” trophy for reviving a teammate in the PS4 version of the new battle royale hit Apex Legends. When he looked at the details, he found out that only 49.5% of all players own this trophy. This is reported by the site PCGamesN.
This means that more than 50% of all players on PS4 have never revived a teammate when they were killed. To do this, the banner has to be brought to a respawn point.
However, the number does not say anything about actual revivals, as the trophy can only be received once. This means that some players could have obtained the trophy with only one revival.
Why are there so few people? Apex Legends is free, even though it costs a symbolic 25 cents on PS4 due to youth protection laws. This means that many players may just try out the game and then set it aside.
If these players just tried the game, they count in the statistics but obviously have no revivals. A specific reason why the number is so low cannot be stated.
Additionally, some websites like exophase mention other values, according to which 78.43% of players have the trophy, but only 21.4% of all PSN users.
Are other platforms more social? Yes, they actually are. The 49.5% for the trophy only applies to the PS4 version of the game. However, Apex Legends is also available on PC and Xbox One. Both platforms show a higher success percentage:

Why it is more common on PS4 for players to not revive their teammates and why it is the most players on Xbox One can only be speculated. However, the introduction of Solo and Duo modes for Apex Legends might change something.
