What kind of mistake did the producers make? The mishap is visible in episode 226 of the One Piece anime. The episode first aired in 2005 on Japanese television, and in Germany, it aired a year later.
This episode is a filler episode that has no relevance to the actual story of One Piece. Here, Luffy encounters Foxy, who kept the Straw Hat Crew busy with his unfair Davy Back Fight.
During a scene, Zoro charges at Foxy, who is disguised as his assistant Porsche. Previously, he stood in a group with Nami, Sanji, and Usopp, observing the events from the outside.

The animators likely forgot at this moment that Zoro was charging forward. Therefore, he is seen twice.
By the way: In the next scene, Luffy makes such a silly remark that the Straw Hat Crew falls to the ground, and their legs stick up in the air. Here, Zoro’s pair of legs is only visible on the left side, while only Nami, Sanji, and Usopp are on the right. There, the mistake has already been fixed.

How did this happen? It’s possible that it was overlooked in post-production that Zoro had already been drawn in one of the two positions. The mistake has not been corrected to this day, which is why you can see the episode, for example, on Crunchyroll with the Zoro double.
The production team has already made a mistake before. In episode 238, the mouth of chief craftsman Pauly was fixed on his belly. Thus, he literally became a ventriloquist.
