Abubakar Salim has accomplished a lot in his career. He acted in video games, series and films, and even produced his own game. And in his game, he hid a line from House of the Dragon, but he won’t reveal which one.
What has Abubakar Salim done? Most of you will know him as the actor of Bayek from Assassin’s Creed Origins. He has also contributed voice work in Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
Fans of the latest season of House of the Dragon will have seen him as Alyn of Holk. While shooting House of the Dragon, he developed his own game. As he recently revealed on X.com, he has hidden a little nod to the series in his game, Tales of Kenzera: ZAU.

Salim found one line really good. During the filming of House of the Dragon, Salim was also busy developing his game. He wrote and developed Tales of Kenzera: ZAU during that time. As he has now revealed in his tweet, he borrowed
a line from the latest episode of the prequel to Game of Thrones.

In the tweet, he does not say which quote he used from House of the Dragon. He wishes everyone searching for the quote good luck. So far, it seems that no one in the comments has found the correct answer.
It is remarkable how he could develop a whole game while shooting series and films. Under the tweet, he also answers a few questions. He mentions, for example, that the development of the game took four years and that he managed to juggle everything because he didn’t sleep. If only one line prompted him to include it in the game, there are surely more references to House of the Dragon.
What kind of game is Tales of Kenzera: ZAU? Tales of Kenzera: ZAU is a classic Metroidvania, like Hollow Knight. The focus of the game is supposed to be on an emotional story.
