The Twitch streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa and her husband Nick were robbed in their home. They were able to fend off the robbers, including with the use of Nick and his gun. In a Twitch stream, the two talk about the incident. However, the community is wondering whether Nick is the same husband who allegedly suppressed Amouranth in 2022.
What happened with Amouranth’s husband? In October 2022, Amouranth tearfully revealed in a Twitch livestream that she was married. Previously, she had never mentioned her relationship status. Many of her fans apparently assumed she was single.
At that time, Amouranth was on the phone with her husband during the stream and told him that she no longer wanted to hide their relationship.
Her husband had forced her to keep their marriage a secret in order to maintain Amouranth’s reputation as a single and thus “available” woman. This way, the Twitch streamer could earn more money.
However, Amouranth had had enough of this situation and publicly revealed how she was suffering under her husband. Among other things, he would repeatedly threaten to harm her financially or kill her dogs.
Since the incident with her husband, there has been little talk about it in recent years. The community is all the more astonished now that the Twitch streamer is sitting in a livestream with her husband Nick and recounting the robbery of their home. Nick is portrayed as a hero.

These were the events of the robbery: In a stream on Twitch (via twitch.tv), the couple recounts the incident while being interviewed by Kick streamer Adin Ross:
- On the evening of March 6, 2025, Amouranth was in her bed while Nick was in another building on their property.
- Amouranth heard two loud bangs and called Nick to ask if he was trying to get into the house. He denied it.
- Then, the burglars shot open the front door and entered Amouranth’s bedroom. They attacked her and demanded that the Twitch streamer lead them to her crypto wallets.
- Amouranth cooperated and led the burglars to the building where Nick was. He had a weapon and shot at the intruders.
Nick’s behavior was praised by Adin Ross: “You focused on what you needed to focus on to save your wife.”
What happened next? Amouranth and her husband are currently not living in their house. They are there during the day to make better security arrangements, and at night they sleep in hotels.
In the meantime, police have arrested a suspected burglar; there are already more suspects. According to Nick, “the whole thing will probably be resolved sooner rather than later.”
Community is skeptical
As heroic as the story sounds, the community is divided. Many feel that something is not right:

Many are making jokes about the situation and comparing Amouranth’s statements to the seasons of an anime series. The abusive husband is just a “standalone arc” from an earlier season and no longer belongs in the canon, they say.
Others say that merely mentioning the incident from 2022 leads to a ban from Amouranth’s stream.
