There is little known about the MMORPG New World from Amazon Game Studios. However, that could change soon. YouTubers have been invited to test it.
The “MMO influencer” Lethality tweeted that he received an invitation from Amazon to see and play the upcoming MMORPG New World on-site.
He is looking forward to it but does not know if he will be allowed to share anything about it. Presumably, Amazon Game Studios wants to see initial reactions from players to determine how their project is received.
What is New World?
- New World is a sandbox MMORPG being developed by Amazon Game Studios
- It allegedly takes place during the colonization of America
- Supernatural elements play an important role. There are supposed to be monsters and shaman magic
- Horror elements are also present
- You must collect artifacts to protect yourself from the undead
- Settlements are important to provide protection and serve as starting points for expeditions. Settlements can be protected with runes
When is New World coming out?
So far, Amazon Game Studios has hardly spoken at all about the MMORPG. It was announced with very few details.
Therefore, it is currently not clear when it will be released – or if it will be released at all. After all, Amazon recently also canceled the development of the MOBA Breakaway.
When will we learn more about New World?
It is quite possible that this event that Amazon is hosting for “influencers” will bring to light some initial information. It is also conceivable that New World will be presented at E3.
The colonial horror scenario of New World could indeed become interesting.
