As announced today, Amazon Games is collaborating with developer studio Disruptive Games on a new action-adventure focused on online multiplayer. Not much has been revealed yet, but what we know is shared here on MeinMMO.
What is known so far? After New World and Lost Ark, Amazon announces the next big online adventure. Together with the developers from Disruptive Games, a brand new IP is being created.
This is an “online multiplayer action-adventure.” It will be a multi-platform title that focuses on cooperative and competitive gameplay.

Mobile game with survival elements?
What could this game be? Currently, it is still completely unclear what type of game this is. More information will come later.
However, based on some statements from responsible parties and the information known so far, possible conclusions can already be drawn:
- Mobile game
It is only a concept art – but in a vertically oriented image, mobile bells start ringing immediately. The hint at the “multi-platform title” can also be interpreted that way. Similar to Diablo Immortal, this new game could also run on PC and mobile, perhaps even on consoles.
- Survival elements
The images depict typical survival mechanics, such as a character carrying a pickaxe and a campfire that perhaps provides warmth but definitely provides food.
- Rust sends regards
Firearms can also be discovered. Therefore, it could be a survival game with a large PvP component like Rust, where players fight over scarce resources on a large map and defend their base.
- The Forest also sends regards
The hints at an action-adventure also suggest that the world invites exploration and tells a story. The Forest demonstrated how to implement something like this in a cooperative game – Amazon could even incorporate PvP. By the way, a sequel to The Forest is in the works.
- “Disruptive” ideas
At Disruptive Games, the name is program. They want to “question the traditional rules of game design and game development.”
Christoph Hartmann, Vice President of Amazon Games, adds: “Disruptive Games brings fresh air into the genre of multiplayer action-adventures, with strong game design and rich worldbuilding.”
What exactly lies behind the project is still uncertain. However, the developers at Disruptive Games have already gained quite a bit of experience and have implemented the following projects:
- Godfall – created ability effects
- Diablo 2: Resurrected – online service
- Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 – multiplayer integration
