At the joint press conference of Xbox and Bethesda, a lot of new games were shown. After the show at the E3 2021, it is clear: The Xbox Game Pass is getting a lot of new content – right at the release of the games.
This is the Game Pass: The Game Pass is a subscription model from Microsoft that allows you to play over 100 different games for a monthly fee.
Depending on the model, you can play the games on PC or console – sometimes even on the first day of launch.
The Game Pass is regularly growing with new games. And at E3, a whole series of new games were shown that Game Pass holders can play directly on the day of release. We summarize all the titles that were announced here.
These games will be available in the Xbox Game Pass from day 1

Halo Infinite
When does it come to the Game Pass? End of 2021
This is Halo Infinite: Halo Infinite is the seventh part of the popular shooter series and boasts the “largest Master Chief campaign to date.” The Master Chief can also be admired in a new trailer for E3:
Halo Infinite also comes with a free multiplayer mode that is expected to reach up to 120 FPS depending on the platform. You can find all the information about the Halo Infinite multiplayer here.
Forza Horizon 5
When does it come to the Game Pass? November 9, 2021
This is Forza Horizon 5: Forza Horizon is the game for car lovers among you. It offers a huge open world set in Mexico that you can explore with various cars. With deserts, ruins, cities, and mountains, it is incredibly diverse, as also shown in the new trailer at E3:
Back 4 Blood
When does it come to the Game Pass? October 12, 2021
This is Back 4 Blood: Back 4 Blood comes from the developers of the Left 4 Dead series and is their spiritual successor. It is a cooperative survival shooter with zombies, where you must fight for survival from a first-person perspective.
With up to four players, you can choose from different classes and try to withstand the zombie hordes. How that looks is shown in the new gameplay trailer:
Microsoft Flight Simulator
When does it come to the Game Pass? July 27, 2021
This is Microsoft Flight Simulator: The Flight Simulator is already known from the PC, now Microsoft’s flight simulation will land on the Xbox Series X | S – and will also be available in the Game Pass from day 1.
The Flight Simulator features an extremely detailed world that you can explore with different aircraft. MeinMMO editor Patrick Freese fell in love with the game upon release. And how it will look on the Xbox Series X was shown in the new E3 trailer:
Starfield
When does it come to the Game Pass? November 11, 2022
This is Starfield: After a long wait, there was finally a look at Starfield, the new big thing from Bethesda, at E3. The role-playing game takes you far into the future, right into space, offering a different setting than the well-known Bethesda series Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. You can see the teaser here:
Redfall
When does it come to the Game Pass? 2022 (Exact release unknown)
This is Redfall: Redfall was the closing surprise of the conference and presented itself as an open-world shooter where you must face nasty vampires. The cinematic trailer showed a team fighting against the nasty bloodsuckers and with witty comments gave off a bit of Borderlands-with-vampires vibe:
The Ascent
When does it come to the Game Pass? June 29, 2021
This is The Ascent: The “Ascent Group”, a global mega-corporation, has collapsed. The result: absolute chaos breaks out and you suddenly find yourself confronting a wild fight for survival. With up to four players, you can explore the stylish cyberpunk world of “The Ascent”, while leveling up your character, upgrading your equipment and shooting enemies to pieces with shooter elements.
Twelve Minutes
When does it come to the Game Pass? August 19, 2021
This is Twelve Minutes: Twelve Minutes is an interactive thriller. You find yourself in a time loop and must solve a mystery. The catch: You only have twelve minutes for that. However, again and again. With James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley and Willem Dafoe, three Hollywood stars are involved in the game.
Psychonauts 2

This is Psychonauts 2: The game places you in a bizarre, colorful world full of puzzles. The focus is on adventurous platforming elements that you must master. You can use psychic powers as well as slow down time:

This is Age of Empires IV: This is the fourth main installment of the well-known strategy series. You must build cities, gather resources, and defeat your enemies in battle. You can experience entire centuries of history in the game:
Shredders

This is Shredders: Shredders looks like a really cool game for snowboard fans. You can conquer wild descents, perform tricks in the air, and admire your fellow riders: In Shredders, you can slide through the snow together with your friends.
Party Animals

A Plague Tale: Requiem

This is A Plague Tale: Requiem: Requiem continues “A Plague Tale: Innocence” and presents itself as an adventure game with horror and survival elements. The trailer already sets the mood for an oppressive game world:
Replaced

This is Replaced: Replaced is a classic 2.5D platformer that comes across quite dark. You will be transported to an alternative version of the 80s and must fight your way through the darkness:
Atomic Heart

This is Atomic Heart: At E3, a trailer for Atomic Heart was released that suggests a quite wacky shooter. You fight against crazy robots and can rely not only on your own firearms but also on various abilities. The release is still unknown, but Atomic Heart will be available in the Game Pass from day one:
Somerville

This is Somerville: A global catastrophe has plunged the world into chaos, and unknown visitors have targeted the planet. That is the setting that Somerville places you in – and the atmospheric trailer shows that this will not be a cheerful game:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
When does it come to the Game Pass? April 28, 2022
This is Stalker 2: The game places you in the middle of the exclusion zone of Chernobyl. There you explore an open world determined by radiation and mutants. The first-person shooter is expected to deliver a mix of horror, survival, and an exciting story. MeinMMO author Tarek Zehrer likened it to the Metro games.
Slime Rancher 2
When does it come to the Game Pass? 2022 (Exact release still open)
This is Slime Rancher 2: The winner of the award for the most colorful game of the evening goes to Slime Rancher 2. There you travel an open world where you must collect so-called “slimes.” Additionally, one cultivates fruits and vegetables, collects resources, and discovers ancient technologies.
In addition to the games for the Xbox Game Pass, other highlights were presented during E3. Among other things, an update with Jack Sparrow for Sea of Thieves was showcased, and Far Cry 6 was also a topic during the conference.
