8. Sova
Sova ranks 8th in your ranking with 36 votes and 5 %.
What makes Sova special: Sova is a starter agent from the class of initiators. He hails from Russia and is a stoic hunter who has taken down almost every creature of his homeland.
In the game, he uses his bow to fire sonar and shock arrows. The former reveal hidden enemies, while the latter deal AoE damage. Additionally, he can use a drone for reconnaissance and fire through walls as his ultimate ability.
Sova is a playable hero that fits well into many teams, as reconnaissance is crucial in Valorant. His skills are intuitively usable, except for the ultimate, which requires a lot of information and reconnaissance; otherwise, you might just fire shots aimlessly across the map.
Even though his reconnaissance is valuable, experienced players often prefer to use Cypher in this area.
Here are the pros and cons of Sova:
7. Phoenix
Phoenix ranks 7th in your ranking with 42 votes and 7 %.
What makes Phoenix special: Phoenix is a starter agent that you can use from the beginning. He hails from Great Britain and belongs to the class of duelists. Therefore, he is ideal for taking down other agents in battle.
Phoenix lives up to his name. He can throw fireballs, create walls of flame, and blind enemies with sparks. As his ultimate ability, he can resurrect himself if killed, teleporting back to the activation point.
Phoenix is broadly considered a good all-round agent and is great for beginners. However, he is not particularly special, and his skills are not very creative — except perhaps for the ultimate. Additionally, his blinding ability often annoys teammates because it can easily hit them and cause a lot of chaos.

6. Cypher
Cypher ranks 6th in your ranking with 55 votes and 9 %.
What makes Cypher special: Cypher is an agent that you have to unlock. The quirky spy with the hat hails from Morocco and is the best scout in the game. He belongs to the class of Sentinels — a role that fights primarily defensively.
Cypher is one of the strongest agents in the game, especially popular among professionals. This is because the spy secures the map excellently. He uses cameras and tripwires to alert you when an enemy walks through.
Additionally, Cypher has a CC skill called Cyber Cage, which obscures vision and holds back opponents. As his ultimate, he can even reveal the entire enemy team on the map. All this makes Cypher the optimal hero to secure flanks.
However, to play him well, one must be strategically wise and capable of good planning and positioning. In addition, the team must cooperate. Therefore, he is of little use to casual players.
Here are the pros and cons of Cypher:
5. Jett
Jett ranks 5th in your ranking with 59 votes and 10 %.
What makes Jett special: Jett is a swift agent from South Korea. She belongs to the class of duelists and is unlocked from the start in the game. Jett is especially interesting for players who want a faster movement.
In Valorant, your heroes move relatively slowly, and champions don’t make great leaps. Except Jett! This agile woman is like a ninja and can perform double jumps, rush forward quickly, and even glide through the air with her skills.
Additionally, there are useful smoke bombs and a truly deadly ultimate. She throws 100% accurate hitscan knives and runs even faster while doing so. This allows Jett to reliably turn around rounds that seem almost lost.
For these reasons mentioned above, Jett is popular among many players. However, if you struggle with the movement and the limits of her skills, you won’t have much fun with her.
