The queues have become more relaxed, and most players report no problems aside from wait times. Occasionally, there are still disconnections and issues with the server connection, but they seem mostly stable.

Meanwhile, the situation has calmed down, and we and our friends have all made it onto the servers we wanted to join. You just need to have a bit of patience and endure the queues. For a queue position around 1,500, you are currently waiting about 30 – 45 minutes.

To further alleviate the situation, two additional servers have been added, as the developers share in the official blog. You can also plunge into Ariel (Elyos) and Azphel (Asmodian).

In our community, some report waitlist positions between 2,000 and 3,500. So you’ll need some patience if you want to get in now.
At least the disconnections and packet errors seem to have been resolved, so you should be able to jump in once your waiting time is up.

With a bit of luck, you can still snag a spot on the full servers. We MMO players know how inflationary clicking works, right? So if you want to join friends on what seems to be a full server, it’s worth sticking around and trying again.

Some in my circle are now reporting waitlist positions around 1620 on Marchutan when starting the game now. How about you?

The situation seems to be gradually stabilizing. Many players are sharing their created characters and their successes in getting into the game on Reddit. It currently seems like all new players must go to the two newly established servers, Yustiel and Marchutan.
Whether the other servers will become accessible again when the rush subsides remains to be seen.

NCSoft has announced via the blog that they will be opening an additional EU server for Elyos and Asmodians. You can also distribute yourselves across Yustiel (Elyos) and Marchutan (Asmodian). Hopefully, this will alleviate the situation a bit.

We keep getting the error code S:8970 – “Unable to connect to the game server.” We’ve made it to the tutorial a few times but have then been kicked back to the main menu. Disadvantage: you have to restart the tutorial each time. Only after that does the actual character creation start.

Okay, Karsten unfortunately had a connection loss, and it’s not looking much better for the rest of us. Even on Reddit and X, it doesn’t seem like anyone has made it in yet. On Twitch, however, it seems that some streamers have at least managed to get into the game.
