The Elder Scrolls Online offers once again (almost) all DLCs and chapter add-ons for free. During a free trial, you can fully utilize the subscription system ESO-Plus without paying a cent. How that works, you can find out here.
What is currently free? At regular intervals, ESO offers all players who already own the game free access to the subscription service ESO-Plus. It normally costs 12.99 euros per month, but from today (June 15, 2021) until June 21, 2021, the subscription is free for all players.
This means you have access to a lot of premium content in the game, including:
- All DLCs and dungeons, including those related to Blackwood
- All chapter add-ons except for Blackwood. You can also visit Greymoor, Elsweyr, and Co. for free
- Unlimited storage for crafting materials
- Bonus on gold and experience gain
- More space in housing
- Ability to dye costumes
- Double number of transmutation crystals
How to get the free ESO-Plus
To participate in the free ESO-Plus trial, you only need to have purchased ESO once and log into the game. You do not get the base game for free.
Once you are in the game, proceed as follows:
- Open the Crown Store
- Go to the “ESO-Plus” tab
- Select “Free Trial” there
From then on, your ESO-Plus trial should run until June 21 and you have the whole weekend to test the dungeons and DLCs. Your progress there will remain, even after the subscription ends. You can continue from where you left off later if you subscribe again or permanently unlock the DLCs and chapters by purchasing them.
As another new DLC area, the region called Deadlands was recently introduced. What to expect there, you can find out here with us on MeinMMO. Have fun!
