One of the best weapon effects from Crimson Desert becomes available quite early in your collection and allows you to shoot Aimbot Rocket Crows at enemies with the push of a button. It is so powerful that you should utilize Crow Hunt until the endgame.
What is behind the skill? With Crow Hunt, you summon a swarm of crows that deals some area damage upon use – so the dull description in Crimson Desert. However, the actual effect is much more exciting and powerful.
Whenever you perform your heavy attack (right mouse button or RT on the controller), crows fly from your weapon, diving at nearby enemies. Unlike many other weapon effects, these fluttering birds come with a built-in Aimbot and therefore almost always hit a target.
It doesn’t matter whether enemies are within melee range or not. The crows also take aim at distant or flying foes. The latter is particularly helpful, as some of the most annoying enemy types in Crimson Desert can fly.
Crow Hunt – easy handling, noticeable effect
Why is the skill so strong? Individual Harpies or the flying, bubble-protected cultists can be dazzled by the light of Cliff’s Sword, but that might not always be possible in chaotic battles. Anyone with Crow Hunt on their weapon can simply spam RT or right mouse button to shred through the enemies on the ground while taking down flying targets from the sky.
The strength of the effect is clearly demonstrated in the Delesyia region. There, you encounter entire swarms of mechanical flies. Don’t even try to take them down individually with the bow. Just slice through the air with your sword while the drones fly around you, and your Aimbot Rocket Crows will finish the rest in moments.
The effect is also helpful in various boss fights, as the crows deal damage even when you miss with your heavy hit. Sometimes, you can even throw the annoying critters off balance with constant hits. In short: Crow Hunt is one of the best weapon effects in Crimson Desert, and you should definitely not let the skill go unused somewhere.
Tip: With enough points in the blue stamina talent and the Abyss armor Stamina Cycle (restores stamina on attack) on the weapon, you can use your heavy attack almost continuously in fights – this also applies to two-handed weapons that hold other weapon effects like Earth Strike or Wonders of Darkness.
Where can I get Crow Hunt? The good news: If you play the main story of Crimson Desert, your path will inevitably lead you to the weapon effect. The bad news: You have to defeat the Crow Summoner in Act 5, who will annoy you with several phases and some annoying attacks.
From the defeated Crow Summoner, you will receive a weapon from which you can extract the effect Crow Hunt at a witch and put it into your desired weapon. Make sure to do that and try out the skill in practice, it’s worth it!
