A player and his buddy launched hundreds of flare guns in ARC Raiders. The community is amazed and jokes about the consequences of the action.
What was that action? A few days ago, the Reddit user “81nmIsbucko” shared a video in the subreddit for ARC Raiders. In this video, he and his teammate reportedly ignite 168 Raider flares simultaneously.
The two Raiders had filled 2 loot markers Mk2 completely with flares and taken them into the raid. They then placed them in a long line and sat back at a greater distance to appreciate their work when igniting.

“This guy crashed the servers with Raider flares”
This is what the community says about the action: The subreddit for ARC Raiders is excited. The post garnered over 13,000 upvotes and hundreds of comments. Many celebrate the fireworks and hope for more cool actions from the community in the future.
Many users also respond humorously. One jokes: “There was never a DDoS attack. This guy crashed the servers with Raider flares,” and receives over 3,000 upvotes. The comment refers to the server issues on January 28, 2026, which left ARC Raiders down for hours. According to the developers, DDoS attacks were the cause of the problems.
Other players write that he brought weaker gaming PCs of players on the other side of the map to a boil with the fireworks.
This is how he did it: The actual fireworks are not a big challenge. You just have to pack enough remote-controlled flares and place them in a row. Then, when you hit “Activate,” all placed flares are ignited simultaneously.
In the comments, “81nmIsbucko” reports that he packed, placed, and ignited half of the flares. His buddy handled the other half. The only “problem” is the risk of packing so many flares. If your Raider dies, everything is lost.
“81nmIsbucko” and his teammate lost two full inventories in their attempts before they could successfully ignite the fireworks. But since you can buy unlimited flares at Apollo and a full inventory costs only about 45,000, it doesn’t bother him.
While “81nmIsbucko” and his buddy are putting on a fireworks show in ARC Raiders, another player is experiencing cinematic action and is celebrated by the community as the “ARC Knight,” a nod to Batman, the Dark Knight.
