- Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore is a new MMORPG that has launched in alpha on Steam and emphasizes teamwork.
- Project TL, the new MMORPG from NCSoft, will officially release for PS5 and reveals a few details
The controversy of the week: Diablo Immortal will also be released for PC and is expected to be the largest Diablo yet. Will you play the new MMOARPG?

WoW raids are getting easier, New World brings PvP arenas
This is what happened in the major MMORPGs:
- WoW makes an ancient joke real and introduces playable Tauren rogues. Additionally, the director announced that mythic raids will not be as difficult again, because the race for World Firsts was unhealthy this time.
- In Final Fantasy XIV, players must change the past to succeed in the new raid.
- Lost Ark is currently enjoying great popularity on Steam and is increasing in player numbers. Our author Mark Sellner explains why now is a good time to return. There was also a small patch this week.
This is what is happening in the smaller MMORPGs:
- New World released its significant April patch on Monday. Additionally, the major May patch with new PvP arenas and adjustments to the combat system is on the test server.
- SWTOR has finally released a feature for weapon skinning.
- Dual Universe has an economic problem and is discussing a complete wipe. However, this unsettles the players.
- The Lord of the Rings Online reached its highest player count on Steam in 10 years. The reason is the new update, which especially helps free-to-play players.
This is what is happening in MMORPGs under development:
- How is Blue Protocol, the big MMORPG hope from Japan, doing? We took a look.
- The new MMORPG Fractured focuses on a realistic temperature and weather system.
- MMORPG veteran Rap Koster is making a new game and is receiving a lot of funding – especially from Korean companies.
- With Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds, another anime MMORPG will be released in the summer.
