The top 20 best-selling mangas in 2024 are a colorful mix. At the top, a specific manga dominates by a large margin, even overshadowing One Piece.
Which manga is in first place? With a substantial lead, Jujutsu Kaisen takes first place among the best-selling mangas in 2024. The period is always measured from November of the previous year to the current November. During this time, the manga sold 7,610,995 copies.
In contrast, One Piece is “only” in second place. The manga sold 5,280,000 copies during the same period. The sales not only include the current editions but also older volumes from previous years.
Why is Jujutsu Kaisen in first place? The manga of Jujutsu Kaisen has been in first place since 2021 and was only interrupted in 2023 by Blue Lock (via X). This time, however, this placement will be the last one Jujutsu Kaisen will achieve.
The manga ended on September 30, 2024, which could also have contributed to the high sales figures. The anime of the same name may have also helped raise awareness among fans wanting to know how the story continues and purchasing the manga.
