A leak promises three free games for subscribers of the PS Plus service in June 2021. These include, among others, two really good titles. The third title has not yet been revealed, but is expected to launch right in time with the start of PS Plus in June 2021. Once again, there are games for the PS4 and the PlayStation 5.

What does the leak say? According to the leak, you will get three games for your PS4 and PS5 with PS Plus in June 2021. The three games are expected to be as follows:
- Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4)
- Operation: Tango (the Spanish site indicates this may be exclusive to PS5)
- Virtua Fighter 5 / Ultimate Showdown (PS4)
The games have not been officially confirmed by Sony.
Where does the leak come from? The Spanish-speaking site “Areajugones” explains that there was a leak regarding PS Plus (via areajugones.sport.es). The site states: “Once again, they had early access to the information.”
The leak itself is not shown or named in more detail. This initially seems a little untrustworthy. However, it supports the leak that one of the named titles will be released right in time with the start of PS Plus in June.
According to the leak, the Star Wars game and fighting game will be free in June
What kind of games are these? With Star Wars: Squadrons, you will get a fast-paced, action-packed dogfighting title where you hunt enemy spacecraft. You can fight on either the side of the Alliance or the Galactic Empire. The Star Wars game has received positive reviews from the press.
With Virtua Fighter 5 / Ultimate Showdown, you will have access to a fighting game if this title is included in the free PS Plus games in June 2021. The game has not yet been officially introduced, nor is there a trailer for the game.
The predecessor is Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, released in 2012, and is considered a very good fighting game title, rated 86% by GamePro colleagues, and is said to be one of the best fighting games of its generation (via GamePro.de). It is supposed to be a new “Virtua Fighter” title that connects to the predecessor. The game also briefly appeared in the Asian PlayStation Store:
The third title is Operation: Tango and has not yet been officially released. It is a cooperative spy adventure where you must work with a friend to solve various tasks around the globe. The release date is June 1, 2021. Like Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, this game could also be officially released with PS Plus.
You can easily play the PS4 games on your PS5 using the backward compatibility feature. PS Plus games for the PS5 cannot generally be played on the PlayStation 4.
People who own a PS5 and are PS Plus subscribers have access to PlayStation Plus Collection, giving them access to 20 high-quality titles every month that they can play at any time on their PS5.

When will the games be officially announced? The games for PS Plus in June 2021 will be officially announced on May 26, 2021. From June 1, you can then download the games.
You can currently still play the free PS Plus games for May. Included is the strong shooter Battlefield V, which you should definitely try out if you haven’t already.
