What is HWiNFO? HWiNFO is a small tool developed by Martin Malík in Slovakia. The tool is available for free download and can be installed on any Windows computer.

The developer himself states that the “National Aeronautics and Space Administration” (short: NASA) uses his tool on their computers. On the official Website, several different documents are referred to where NASA officially uses the tool.
Who is the tool worth it for? The small software is especially recommended if you want to overclock your hardware or want to check new hardware. Do you feel like your SSD is too slow or individual components are overheating? Then HWiNFO is quite suitable for showing the right data. However, you usually have to categorize them yourself.
Even though many data are aimed at experienced users, the tool also offers beginners a good overview of the values of their gaming PC.
Other tools like HWMonitor, which is also free, offer similar possibilities. However, HWiNFO is significantly more comprehensive and offers many more options. If you only want a rough overview of temperatures or your installed hardware, HWMonitor might be sufficient.
