The television offers great picture quality and good colors, but hardly any gaming features
For currently under 400 euros, you can get a 43-inch television with 4K resolution. However, the device is also available in sizes up to 85 inches, for which you currently pay around 1300 euros. The device offers HDR, HDR10+, and HLG. Additionally, the device supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which is particularly important for those who want to use the TV for gaming. This means you can easily send complex audio signals to a receiver or a soundbar without sacrificing sound quality, unless you want to game with a gaming headset anyway.
How good is the device? In the test, the online magazine Rtings praises the television mainly for its excellent picture quality and good contrast ratios, which are typical for VA panels (via rtings.com). Criticism mainly comes from the absence of a dimming function on the television. This means you cannot improve the black values. Also, the brightness at HDR does not always impress.
On Amazon and other sites, some buyers criticize that the sound of the television is very poor. There is also criticism for the menu bar, as you cannot customize it. When you navigate through the menu, you have to see a long list of services and advertisements every time.

Is the device worth it for gamers? Despite the good ratings, the device is not necessarily recommended for gamers. This is because the device only offers a VA panel with 60 Hz and features like variable refresh rate (VRR) and HDMI 2.1 support are completely missing.
However, it must be added that no television in this price range offers these features. The response time is also not perfect according to Rtings. Very fast movements may look slightly blurred on this television, so if you particularly want to play fast-paced shooters, keep this in mind.
If you are looking for a television that offers very good picture quality and is primarily worthwhile for dark rooms or for the evening, then you should consider the Samsung television. Despite the lack of gaming features, Rtings ranks this television among the best 4K TVs available for under 500 euros.
