The popular survival show 7 vs. Wild is going into the next round. In the 3rd season, a lot will change, among other things, the participants are supposed to compete as pairs for the first time. If it were up to organizer Fritz Meinecke, Twitch streamer Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris (35) and Carsten “Elotrix” (31) should be there. “Uncle Monte” initially reacts irritated.
What kind of series is this? 7 vs. Wild is a survival show that has been broadcast on YouTube since 2021. In the first two seasons, 7 participants had to endure alone in the wilderness for 7 days. However, the upcoming 3rd season breaks with the tradition and sends teams of 2 participants into the cold for 14 days:

Are MontanaBlack and Elotrix participating in 7 vs. Wild? So far, both are only nominated. Organizer Fritz Meinecke released a video on April 20, in which he presented 3 teams, including the two streamers.
Similar to entertainer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla, MontanaBlack and Elotrix are likely to provide a contrast to the participating outdoor experts with their inexperience in survival and ensure plenty of entertainment.
What makes them special? The two Twitch streamers collectively bring over 20 years of experience as content creators and are good friends. They started mainly with videos showing them playing CoD while telling stories from their lives.
Especially the now 35-year-old MontanaBlack often has to hear jokes about his age: Fans affectionately refer to him as “retiree” and jest about diminishing reflexes or forgetfulness. There is also a little jab in the nomination video for 7 vs. Wild: The two candidates are said to be “older than ever”.
MontanaBlack and Elotrix now have until April 30 to make a statement about their participation. You can watch who else has been nominated in the embedded video:
MontanaBlack doesn’t want to be pressured
How does MontanaBlack react? As luck would have it, MontanaBlack was in a joint stream with Elotrix when he received the news of his nomination. Fans immediately flooded the chat and demanded a statement from the 35-year-old.
For many fans, MontanaBlack’s participation would fulfill a great wish. However, his enthusiasm was somewhat limited. He apparently felt pressured by the viewers and reacted irritably: The decision to endure in the cold wilderness for two weeks should indeed be well thought out.
And I don’t know what world you live in, but I don’t decide on such things within two minutes after the video has come out.

What does Elotrix say? He saw it a bit more relaxed and said that the project was quite interesting. Now the two probably have to coordinate and decide whether they want to participate as a team in 7 vs. Wild. MontanaBlack had already shown basic interest in the survival formats of his colleagues, but whether he will follow up on his words remains to be seen.
While his Twitch colleague Trymacs makes no secret of wanting to be part of 7 vs. Wild, MontanaBlack prefers to be asked. Even Otto “Bulletproof” Karasch, the winner of the second season of the survival show, wanted to win him for his own format:
