A completely different feel for Pokémon battles can be found in Pokémon Tekken DX. As the name suggests, it is a fighting game in the style of Tekken or Street Fighter. You can choose from 21 (23 with DLCs) Pokémon and then compete against friends or the computer.
The game is quite competent (after all, developers from the Tekken series were involved), but also unique. Thanks to the dynamic switch between 2D and 3D principles, Pokémon Tekken feels special and especially works well in battles against friends on the couch.
As a Pokémon fan, it’s also cool to see how the known attacks are implemented in the game. They have a lot of potential and are a cool way to design a fighting game.
