What is Dying Light 2? The survival title Dying Light 2 takes place in a zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic world. You play as an infected person in a city, upon whom the future of the remaining humans depends.
Dying Light 2 continues the extremely popular first part, which was already praised for its exceptional parkour gameplay and fast-paced action.
The sequel now brings numerous choices that determine the consequences for society.
During the story, you explore the city at a rapid pace with acrobatic feats to complete various tasks, gather resources, or protect people. A co-op mode allows you to play Dying Light 2 even with up to three other players as a party of four.
Survival is tough in Dying Light 2: Dying Light 2 relies on fast-paced and action-packed gameplay. Accordingly, survival largely depends on your own skills. Even in the first part, you mostly had two options for dealing with dangers.
Either you avoided large masses of opponents by quickly climbing and performing parkour over roofs, cars, and terrain. Or you confronted the enemies and fought them. Dying Light 2 seemingly aims to adopt such a system as well.
You yourself are blessed with certain abilities because of your infection, which help you. You are faster and stronger than most humans, allowing you to enter particularly dangerous areas, which can also lead to your downfall.

When and where does Dying Light 2 come out? Dying Light 2 was originally supposed to be released in spring 2020. However, the developers need more time and have pushed the release indefinitely (via Gamestar). Dying Light 2 is set to be released for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Due to the delay, a release on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 is also conceivable. However, the first part was indexed in Germany. It remains to be seen how the second part will fare.
