6. Monstrum
Apart from Godzilla and Kong, there are currently few monster films. If you still want monster action, you should check out Monstrum. The Korean film from 2018 is set in 1527. Yoon Gyeom must fight against a monster to protect his kingdom. The interesting aspect is that, due to the time period, there are no modern weapons available for combat.

7. Shaolin Soccer
Finally, there is some fun nonsense in the form of Shaolin Soccer. The film features Kung-Fu monks playing football. There isn’t much more to say. The rules of the sport are flexible in the film, and there are wild special moves that you would normally see only in old Kung-Fu films. Anyone who wants to laugh with their friends before the European Championship should watch this film.
