Before the popular films by Denis Villeneuve, there were already adaptations of Dune. One of them was made by the cult director David Lynch, known for Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive. Even if you have seen the latest Dune films, it is still worth taking a look, as David Lynch has provided a different interpretation of the book, which is a visually interesting interpretation despite the more modest effects.
