In Call of Duty: Warzone there are many points on the map that are not easy to reach. With some of them, you can surprise opponents or even take out annoying campers easily. MeinMMO will tell you where to find these spots and how to reach them.
What are these spots? The various locations we are showing you here are all hard-to-reach places. You either need specific items or a good sense of timing and jumps to get to them.
Some of the spots are located in the city areas of the map or the suburbs with smaller houses. Others are more on the edge of the map and in the mountains. We will show you a brief guide for each spot along with a corresponding clip.

What is it good for? Most of these spots allow you to hit opponents from positions they do not expect. You can stand on mountains and ambush them without them checking your position. No one will expect you there.
With other tricks, you can catch annoying campers from behind by approaching their positions from angles they do not anticipate.
1. Skyscrapers in Downtown
You probably already know the skyscrapers in Downtown from Ground War, from which this area of the Warzone map originates. There are several huge buildings whose rooftops can be accessed via stairs, and Downtown itself is one of the best landing spots in Warzone.
However, these stairs are usually deadly when a team is already at the top, as they are only accessible through a door that can be easily watched. Unless you use this trick:
- go up the stairs to the very top but do not go through the door
- there should be a window in front of you or you are already on some kind of balcony (depending on the type of house)
- from the window/balcony you should be able to see part of the roof
- jump out of the window or over the balcony and grab onto the edge of the roof
- you should now be able to climb up sideways and surprise the opponents from the flank
Some buildings even allow you to climb into the stairwell and ambush opponents from above. Additionally, at these locations, you can surprise opponents who are coming up by simply reversing your route. The video from YouTuber and CoD expert Drift0r shows how it’s done (start around minute 4:30):
2. Red House in Bloc 6
In Bloc 6, a bit northeast of Stadium, there is often strong loot. This spot is also quite popular with players. The entrances are easy to defend and quickly visible to defenders.
However, there is a technique that allows you to sneak up on opponents and ambush them:
- approach the building from the east, where you should see a thin concrete wall
- jump up the concrete wall and pull yourself onto it
- this may take a few attempts, as it is quite thin and you might fall
- in front of you is now part of the walkable roof
- jump onto the roof and you will have access that is otherwise unreachable
From the roof, you can open the door that leads into (or out of) the building. In the clip by jhz123, he shows how he opens the door just a crack to lure opponents out and takes out an entire team alone:
3. Gora Tunnel at Dam (from the South)
Just southeast of Dam, the Gora Tunnel runs through a mountain. This tunnel connects the areas near Dam and Bloc 17. However, the tunnel has the disadvantage that you only have the way forward and back if you are attacked – not ideal for a fight.
With a small jumping puzzle, you can take another route – over the mountain. This way, you can surprise opponents or safely switch areas without fear of death. However, this is only possible from the southern entrance:
- approach the tunnel from the south
- on your left are concrete barriers – climb onto these
- jump from the barriers onto the slanted foundations of the tunnel
- from there jump into the corner where the tunnel and mountain meet
- you should be able to pull yourself up onto a small ledge after a few attempts
- continue jumping between the tunnel and rocks upwards until you reach the top

4. Gora Tunnel at Dam (from the North)
Through the same tunnel, there is another path from the other side that you should consider when using the trick. It leads to the same mountain and over the same tunnel as the third spot on our list.
However, it is somewhat harder to reach. You do not have concrete barriers available but must make do with a porta-potty:
- approach the tunnel from the north
- on your left on the road you will find a blue loo
- from the loo, jump onto the slanted foundation of the tunnel
- run up almost to the top and then jump left onto a flat rock ledge
- continue climbing up to the mountain

This trick cost us the most time when testing because the ledge is harder to reach than it looks. We also made some mistakes – like forgetting the gas circle. Such things are definitely among the common mistakes in Warzone that you should avoid:
Spots against Campers
The last two spots are not clearly marked on the map but appear more frequently. At several locations in Verdansk, you will find the corresponding houses that are commonly used as camping spots. We will show you how to clear them.
5. Two-Story Houses
Anyone who plays Warzone probably knows the houses with a ground floor and an attic where campers love to sit and shoot out of the windows. These are usually hard to capture as there is only one staircase.
With a bit of skill, however, you can unexpectedly get through one of the windows. However, you need a vehicle such as a Jeep for this. Here’s how:
- find a house where a camper has barricaded himself
- drive the Jeep directly in front of the door with the small awning
- get out and climb onto the Jeep
- from the Jeep, climb onto the small awning
- from there you can already see the window – jump in sideways and ambush the player there
Although the other player can see the car, he will most likely expect that you want to attack him from the stairs. So, he will keep an eye on that and not on his back. The clip from Lucky_-1y on reddit shows what it looks like:
6. Flat Roofs
The second technique is a bit more cumbersome as you need mobile cover (a deployable shield) for this. You do not always have this item with you as you have to find it. Unlike other important items, you cannot buy the shield.
A building type where the trick works well are police stations. These have flat roofs and an easily accessible awning. However, it works on most buildings with the appropriate conditions:
- get yourself mobile cover
- position yourself directly under the roof you want to reach
- the roof should be no more than about three times the height of the shield
- place the shield directly against the wall of the house at a right angle
- climb up the side of the shield and from it onto the roof
The reddit user Mikyuno shows in his clip how it works:
It is especially useful for the two camper tricks if you first check with a heartbeat sensor to see if there are enemies present. The heartbeat sensor is the strongest gadget in Warzone.
But keep in mind that players with the “Ghost” perk will not be detected by the sensor. So do not rely on there being no one there if you do not see a point on the radar. Stay cautious nonetheless.
