In Pokémon GO, the Fashion Week event is ending soon. We at MeinMMO have looked at 5 things you should do before the event ends and show you our tips.
What kind of event is this? Currently, the so-called Fashion Week is happening in Pokémon GO. This event mainly focuses on the appearance of the monsters. For this reason, you can currently come across some costumed specimens.
You have until tomorrow, September 28, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time to take advantage of all the benefits of the event. We have compiled 5 tips on which things you should have done before the event ends.
You should do these 5 things
As with other events in Pokémon GO, this one also offers numerous special features for trainers. In addition to the limited research, you can encounter one or another costumed monster. You should definitely utilize these 5 things before the event concludes. We have summarized our tips below:
Complete Limited Research
During the Fashion event, you have the opportunity to complete a limited research task, which comes with some rewards. This research is only available until the end of the event. Tasks that have been completed cannot be redeemed afterward. So make the most of the last hours of Fashion Week to complete the tasks and collect the rewards.
Catch Costumed Pokémon
They can be found everywhere in the wild: costumed Pokémon. Whether it’s Beedrill with a bow, Sneasel with a cap and sunglasses, or Grimer in a hat, the monsters have dressed up for the Fashion event and are eager to be caught.
If you haven’t done so already, you should definitely take the chance, as these costumed Pokémon even have their own category in the Pokédex. Some might be happy to have a new entry. Furthermore, you might also catch these monsters in their shiny forms with a bit of luck.
But you shouldn’t only look for the costumed Pokémon in the wild. You can also get some from Level 1 and Level 3 raids as well as from 7 km eggs. Whether and when you will next find these monsters with this costume in the game is not yet known. So it could be your last chance for now.
Open Gifts
If you want to continue receiving costumed monsters even after the Fashion Week ends, you should generate enough 7 km eggs in advance. These currently contain the following Pokémon, which you can also get in their shiny forms with a bit of luck:
- Shinx with a top hat
- Patrat with a bow
- Alolan Meowth
- Galarian Meowth
You can only obtain the 7 km eggs from gifts from your friends. The only requirement is sufficient space in your egg storage. If you are hoping for one of these monsters, you should take the chance again, as the pool of Pokémon in the 7 km eggs will change after the event.
Catch Coiffwaff
The new Pokémon Coiffwaff is currently spawning more frequently in the wild. Since this monster is a shape-shifter, you can change its form by altering its hairstyle. It has a total of 10 different forms, but only four of them are available here in Germany:
- Ruffled form (base form that you can catch in the wild)
- Ladycut
- Cavalry cut
- Diamond cut
As long as Coiffwaff is still spawning more frequently due to the event, you should try to catch as many as possible. This way, you’ll have one or another strong specimen for the future to secure the other forms as well. Through daily snapshots, you also have the opportunity to obtain three additional Coiffwaff per day.
Trade Pokémon
If you’ve been playing for a while, you know that you can trade up to 100 Pokémon daily in Pokémon GO. Players who want to collect as many lucky Pokémon as possible for their Pokédex should definitely take this opportunity. Because it’s possible to get a lucky trade not only through a lucky friend, but also randomly during a normal trade.
The probability of a lucky trade is only about 5-6%, but especially with monsters like Coiffwaff, which you find more often in the wild due to the event, trading can be worthwhile.
